Transitional times in our lives can be equally beautiful and difficult. Everyone always talks about how the butterfly gracefully becomes this beautiful creature with vibrant colors that floats through life so delicately. People are so quick to forget to mention the transformation that took place within the cocoon. A transformation that requires growth. And growth is hard. Transforming and altering your life is difficult. It is rarely like the movies where the protagonist graciously lets go of the job or relationship and moves to a new city where they create a new, full live without fail. The reality is that is usually takes us months to even work up to the difficult decision to make a grand change in our lives. Then executing said change becomes even harder. It isn’t always sunshine and hope, it’s loneliness, fear, stress, etc.
So if you are in one of these transitional moments of life, and you are trying to make a change that hurts but ultimately you know is right for you, then I want you to know how proud I am of you. How proud I am that you have the courage to move. That you have created enough love for yourself that you are willing to face the difficulties of this chapter in order to yield what is best for you. Pain and fear are real, but they are only temporary emotions. And if you are living without allowing them to stop you, then you are stronger than you may think. I hope you continue acknowledging what you need and when you need it. I hope you continue being brave and moving towards your true alignment, no matter how many transitional seasons that means facing. You have the strength to create a masterpiece of your life and I hope that you continue to do so.
